The Morrisons - and the Rowleys
This branch of the Morrison Clan came originally from Northern Ireland, Robert, the son of Thomas Morrison and Mary Murphy came over to Scotland from Ireland as a young boy in the early 20th Century, with the rest of his family. Having served in the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders in WW1, he spent all his working life in the coal mines of Central Scotland, sadly now they are all gone. Irene has been researching the family tree, a link to which is on the left side. If you can add to it - it will be appreciated.

The Rowley side of the family are principally from Shropshire with possible links to France. Again - check the family tree.
